Nurse's Aide
For over 140 years, Connecticut has been caring for its veterans and their dependents. As a Department, we believe in "serving those who have served". This is accomplished through our: Office of Advocacy and Assistance, Residential Facility, Healthcare Center, and Cemetery and Burial Services.
DVA has supported Connecticut Veterans and continues this tradition with Residential and Healthcare programming on our campus in Rocky Hill. There are two paths for residency at the DVA:
- Residential Facility which offers temporary, supportive living with programming designed to return Connecticut veterans to independent living in the community; and
- Sgt. John L. Levitow Healthcare Center which is a state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility and offers long-term care for veterans with chronic, disabling conditions who require 24-hour assistance.
We are looking for one Nurse's Aide to join our team. Do you have experience providing customer service and interacting with people from various backgrounds? If you are a certified Nurses Aide - please apply today. This is a great opportunity for you to serve and support our veterans. This position is part-time, 32 hours per week working 10:45pm - 7:15am with a rotating schedule including every other weekend.
