Regional Sales Representative - Western Arkansas

Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried Employee

Description: Schulte Supply, an established distributor of underground utility products, is seeking a sales representative for Western Arkansas (see map). We are looking for self-starters who are willing to build the Schulte brand in a new sales territory. An ideal candidate would either have experience in the water and sewer industry or be open to learning the intricate details about our various product lines. An ideal candidate would also be willing to build a positive rapport with customers and be willing to collaborate with product managers and other regional sales representatives. We are looking for someone who will bring energy, dedication, and passion to this position. With our competitive commission package, the more you work, the higher your earning potential. Some of our sales representatives earn six figures annually due to their enduring relationships with our customers. 

Objectives and Key Results: 

  • Outcome #1: Because this sales territory is new, we expect our regional sales representative to sell to 20 new customers every month for the first year. 
  • Outcome #2: In 2025, increase sales in this sales territory by 20%.
  • Outcome #3: In collaboration with our Neptune Sales Manager, sell at least three Neptune Water Meter Systems annually. 

Other details: 

  • Forty percent overnight travel is required.
  • Our sales representatives are expected to reside within the territory preferably close to metropolitan areas. 
  • A college degree in business, sales, or marketing is preferred but not required. Industry and technical experience can outweigh a college degree and/or sales experience. 
  • Though there are some existing accounts in this territory, this position largely includes expanding our customer base by making cold calls to municipalities and contractors. 
  • Sales representatives are expected to be on the road making sales calls 8 hours a day Monday through Friday and are held accountable via a tracking system in a company truck.

Compensation Package: 

  • Salary: $65,000-75,000 (includes base salary and estimated year one commission)
    • Your compensation usually increases with experience as you gain the trust and respect of customers. Our best sales representatives regularly make six figures. 
    • Base pay will be determined by experience and qualifications.
