Registered Nurse (RN) - NWA Ortho - ICE | MUSL NWA Lowell Clinical

Summary of Job Duties:

The clinic RN directly assists the physician and Ortho team with clinic procedures and tasks, surgery scheduling, and associated administrative and clinic duties.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Baccalaureate Degree, ADN, or Diploma: RN Degree.
• At least one(1) year of RN experience with current BLS certification.
• Valid Arkansas Registered Nursing License.
• BLS/CPR Certified

Key Responsibilities:

• Collects and documents assessment data and provides patient education
• Assist with patient physicals and lab draws
• Responds to patient questions appropriately and address patient concerns.
• Utilizes current nursing practice to provide patient-focused care while exemplifying service excellence, care, concern, respect, and cooperation.
• Interacts with and assists the public in a professional and friendly manner as needed.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills; communicates accurate and complete information; maintains strict confidentiality when necessary.
• Demonstrates positive working relationships with co-workers, management team, and ancillary departments
• Follow the Core Concepts of Patient and Family Centered Care and the Basic Code of Conduct Guidelines
• Provide medical coverage for UAMS-contracted sporting and racing events
