Weekend House Guardian

Position Overview: The Demand Project House Guardian role is a dynamic and deeply rewarding opportunity for those who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of traumatized children and teenagers. This is a live-in position with a mandatory two-year commitment, where you will serve as a dedicated caregiver to up to five residents at a time on our campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide round-the-clock care, support, and supervision to residents.
  • Foster a safe, empathetic, and healing environment for traumatized children and teenagers.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in resident activities and provide mentorship and guidance.
  • Assist residents in their journey of healing from trauma.

Requirements:

  • Genuine commitment to the well-being and healing of traumatized youth.
  • Willingness to live on-site for the duration of the two-year commitment.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive two-week training program (paid).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to dynamic situations.
