Electronic Communications Administrator
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure proper change management procedures are followed regarding the installation and testing of all upgrades and enhancements for email, archive, meeting & messaging systems.
- Process requests for on-boarding and off-boarding users. This includes Creating or removing Active Directory objects, such as accounts, mailboxes, security & distribution group memberships, etc.
- Troubleshoot problems with email delivery, mailbox access, email clients and take corrective action on a timely and effective basis.
- Provide technical support to internal and external users.
- Create and maintain documentation on processes and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory, O365, and Azure.
- Microsoft Exchange experience strongly preferred.
- Understanding of SMTP, DNS required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows platform.
- Intermediate understanding of Video Conference applications
- Intermediate understanding of message applications
- General network administration skills.
- Intermediate understanding of network security, protocols.
- Industry acknowledged certification strongly preferred MCSE/MCSA/RHCE.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
